Daniel Talsky's 29th Birthday Party

Friday, May 14th, 2004

Part I: Sushi Feast!

At 5:30pm we're going to start making a massive amount of homemade sushi. There will be both vegetarian and non-veg sushi. It takes a good hour or two to get it together, so we'll probably be doing the feasting around 7pm.

If you can't think of a good present or something to bring, and you haven't made previous sushi ingredient arrangements with me, you could always bring a bottle of Sake. My favorite is Nigori, or unfiltered Sake, but I like most kinds.

Part II: Council of Peers

After everyone's good and stoned on sushi and sake, then we're going to go outside and kick it under the stars and drink 'till I kick everyone out.

In order to keep in from being like every other backyard party at my house, I needed a fireside theme, so lemme break it down. It's called "A Council of Peers" and everyone who has the balls must come prepared with:

We'll go in a circle and you'll lay it on me, as solemn or as drunken silly as you please. I'll accept all compliments and criticisms with either a nod or with a drunken catcall, as appropriate. However, if you bring it in a written form, I am much more likely to peruse and consider it later.

Part III: Leave Me in Peace

Finally, go home and let me pass out with my pretty girl. All my friends are getting old and fuddy-duddyish anyway, so they all leave at like 10:30 anyway. Why I remember back in the day when Beth and I used to close the Twilight and then have rowdy after parties on her bed which almost always involved Hudson getting slapped.

Thank you for coming to my party. It is open invite, and is located at:

11015 27th Ave. NE
Seattle, WA 98125
